The life vest inflates automatically upon water immersion via a replaceable CO2 cylinder (includes 1 cylinder with purchase) or manually with a pull of the “jerk to inflate” cord or back-up oral inflation tube. Designed for commercial fisherman in mind this vest brings superior safety and performance to the recreational water enthusiast.
- TYPE 2 PERFORMANCE: This life jacket is categorized as a Type 2 personal floating device, meaning it is designed to turn most wearers face-up in water. Suitable for rough and offshore water uses or when rescue may not be close.
- EXTREME SAFETY AND BOUYANCY: 40 lbs of buoyancy, providing twice the buoyancy of a Type III foam life jacket and conforming to USCG guidelines.
- ADULT UNIVERSAL FITMENT: Adjusts to fit chest sizes between 30" and 56”
- AUTOMATIC INFLATION: Bluestorm Atmos 40 Inflatable Life Jacket will automatically inflate if you fall in the water unexpectedly. It will also inflate manually by grasping the inflation pull tab and pulling sharply downward. To inflate orally, access the inflation tube by opening the top portion of the cover, remove the dust cap, and blow air into the tube until the inflatable is firm.
